Bring senior-level experience to manage a strong and growing HR team at a global energy leader!
If you have 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, including team management experience in a role where you were trusted to act autonomously and collaborate across teams, then this Senior Director of Human Resources role could take your career to the next level. Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Operations, you will oversee HR programs, processes, and initiatives, and directly manage the team of 5+ employees who execute those. At a high level you will be the team visionary, developing plans, analyzing situations, conceptualizing solutions, and interpreting policies; but you will also need exceptional one-to-one communication skills to ensure the team is headed for the same targets. You’ll coach and guide, helping your team members grow into their best selves, and holding team members accountable to their execution goals.
B&W is a global company, so our ideal candidate will have some experience supporting international staff management. The role requires up to 25% travel, mostly domestic but occasionally international. At B&W, you’ll enjoy a collegial environment where everyone is willing to step up and help out, but we are looking for team members who know how to ask questions, who are quick learners, and who want to bring their best to the office every day.

- Knowledge of federal and state employment law including but not limited to compliance with regulatory requirements, EEO/AA, FMLA, ADA, etc.
- Experience with union workers and the associated rules and laws
- Excellent business acumen, including a demonstrated ability to analyze situations, conceptualize solutions, interpret policies, and offer resolutions for complex issues of a sensitive nature.
- Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and communication skills, including the ability to provide guidance and leadership to HR staff.
- The willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
