Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Sr. Director, Head of Channel Sales, will report to the Managing Director, Head of Sales, Health & Benefits. This role will oversee the sales team of Directors' of Channel Partnerships and Partnership Relationship Managers pursuing channel distribution partnerships with brokers, 401k Recordkeepers, health plans, payroll companies and professional employer organizations. This role will establish business strategies, execute operational plans and drive new revenue growth through this critical source of business. This role will drive the growth or reseller, wholesale and strategic partnerships.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set, communicate and execute operational strategy and performance measures in line with company, segment, region and market goals
  • Act as an expert and advisor to the team to accelerate growth with new channel relationships
  • Responsible for overseeing, retaining, and growing Inspira's H&B distribution partnerships
  • Partner with Sales, Partner Relationship Managers, Marketing, Product Management, and other departments to grow existing relationships, win new business, and evaluate and develop new initiatives
  • Lead the closing process for all new enterprise distribution relationships
  • Work with RMs to establish and achieve goals while expand existing relationships with new opportunities and solutions
  • Partner with Company leaders on strategy, market trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Technology, Legal, HR, Finance, Operations and Client Service on various projects to help improve the client experience
  • Support direct reports by attending regular meetings with key partner and prospect relationships to provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise in managing business relationships
  • Ensure achievement of sales, membership growth, retention and profitability goals
  • Model the Company's Values and Behaviors to increase team engagement
  • Lead and manage the engagement strategy, including conferences, roundtables, etc. (including external events that Inspira attends, as well as in-house events that Inspira leads and hosts)
  • Understand the clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to better determine their requirements, identify potential new business opportunities for Inspira and provide the appropriate solution(s). Achieve and maintain trusted partner status with all enterprise clients
  • Contribute as a member of the sales leadership team
  • Recruit, train and develop team roles
  • Other duties as assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • 8-10 direct reports
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations


Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in senior management sales roles
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, or related


Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
  • Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
  • An affinity for accuracy and efficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (including mail merge) and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred


Other Requirements:

  • Frequent travel (50%)
    • Ability to provide personal transportation from time to time
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
