Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence & DSP Performance
  • Lead OpenX’s Global DSP Operations team across operational performance, technical scalability, and supply competitiveness.
  • Own operational health and performance across DSP partnerships, including bid rates, win rates, QPS efficiency, deal adoption, scalability, signal optimization, and overall SPO competitiveness.
  • Drive scalable operational models that improve DSP performance, increase efficiency, and reduce operational fragmentation.
  • Develop operational frameworks, workflows, escalation paths, SLAs, and governance models across DSP integrations and ongoing partner management.
  • Establish prioritization frameworks across Enterprise, Strategic Growth, and Long Tail DSP segments.
  • Drive operational adoption and execution of differentiated OpenX capabilities, including curation, traffic shaping, identity solutions, inventory packaging, and exchange/supply optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with DSPs to improve auction dynamics, supply quality, scale efficiency, and overall marketplace competitiveness.
  • Monitor and optimize DSP infrastructure health, onboarding processes, endpoint utilization, traffic allocation strategies, and integration performance globally.
  • Maintain deep expertise across OpenX’s platform, infrastructure, and product capabilities to guide operational strategy and best practices.
  • Strategic & Technical Leadership
  • Serve as the senior operational escalation point for DSP integration health, platform scalability, and technical partnership execution.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Solutions Engineering, Exchange, and Infrastructure teams to improve supply competitiveness and DSP outcomes.
  • Translate DSP feedback, operational challenges, and market dynamics into actionable product, platform, and operational priorities.
  • Lead operational readiness and execution for strategic initiatives involving DSP infrastructure, supply optimization, identity, curation, traffic shaping, and differentiated product activation.
  • Establish KPI frameworks, dashboards, operational scorecards, and reporting standards that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making across DSP performance.
  • Identify operational risks, technical gaps, and marketplace inefficiencies that may impact revenue, scalability, or partner health.
  • Drive standardization and process consistency across operational workflows, integrations, troubleshooting, and escalation management.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to establish proactive operational analytics framework across DSP performance and integration health
  • Revenue Enablement & Business Impact
  • Support revenue growth by ensuring DSPs can efficiently scale spend and activate OpenX supply and solutions globally.
  • Partner closely with Strategic DSP Partnerships leadership to align operational execution against broader commercial priorities and account strategies.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, optimization opportunities, and supply-side improvements that positively impact revenue performance and partner growth.
  • Drive operational strategies that improve demand retention, marketplace efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.
  • Support strategic business reviews, growth initiatives, and operational planning with key DSP partners.
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed DSP Operations team, including operational managers and individual contributors.
  • Establish clear ownership, operating rhythms, success metrics, accountability frameworks, and career development paths across the team.
  • Build a culture centered around operational rigor, collaboration, scalability, continuous improvement, and business impact.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching conversations, and talent development initiatives.
  • Drive operational alignment and consistency across regional teams and global DSP workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure alignment between DSP priorities and operational execution globally.
  • Collaborate with commercial and GTM stakeholders to improve activation, adoption, operational readiness, and marketplace performance across DSPs.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize operational tooling, automation, reporting enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Support business reviews, operational escalations, integration planning, and strategic partnership initiatives with key DSP partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, preferably within a DSP, SSP, exchange, or ad tech platform environment.
  • Significant experience leading operational, technical account management, platform operations, or programmatic operations teams at scale.
  • Deep understanding of DSP integrations, auction dynamics, supply-path optimization, traffic shaping, QPS management, deal ecosystems, and programmatic performance metrics.
  • Proven track record of building scalable operational frameworks and improving platform performance across strategic partners.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including experience with BI tools, dashboards, and operational reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Exchange, and Operations teams.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence both internal leadership and external DSP stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-moving and highly technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic market dynamics, including SPO, curation, identity solutions, exchange optimization, infrastructure-level integrations, and evolving DSP buying strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with enterprise DSPs and strategic programmatic partnerships.
  • Experience leading globally distributed operational teams.
  • Familiarity with supply-side infrastructure, curation platforms, identity frameworks, and traffic optimization technologies.
  • Experience supporting large-scale revenue organizations and strategic growth initiatives within ad tech.
  • Experience managing complex operational escalations, platform integrations, or large-scale DSP onboarding initiatives.
  • This role is highly visible across the organization and will play a key role in driving operational excellence, strengthening DSP competitiveness, and scaling high-performing demand partnerships globally.
