Senior Director of Business Development

The Senior Director of Business Development will implement a strategic business plan that targets and builds referral relationships leading to admission to the assigned resident facility. The Senior Director will also coach and mentor assigned development representatives and other staff helping the facility achieve its goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Promote a strong Facility culture in all employees including management throughout the organization
  • Develops and implements strategies that supports the overall Strategic Business Development Plan
  • Develops and maintains referral relationships
  • Consistently achieves agreed upon amount of 20 face to face meetings per week
  • Consistently documents activities and pertinent account information
  • Educates team members about Facility’s services specific to clinical and recovery education
  • Manage, mentor and coach Business Development Representatives with assigned territory
  • Attend meetings with Business Development Representatives providing feedback and guidance
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Manage and analyze data to inform marketing strategies and business development initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business development strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively communicate all program and service offering to key stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Strong selling skills (4-6 years sales experience)
  • Health care experience a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional represents BayMark Health Services and all Residential Facilities
  • Initial and on-going MVR verification and must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with BayMark’s policy F&A-115
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory criminal background checks, and drug screen.
