We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director, IT Infrastructure to lead the transformation of our enterprise technology landscape. This role is pivotal in driving our transition to cloud-based platforms, modernizing legacy systems, and building scalable infrastructure that supports all lines of business. As a strategic partner to the organization, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to align infrastructure capabilities with evolving needs, ensuring agility, resilience, and innovation across the enterprise.
Location: This position can be hybrid from Vishay Malvern PA office.
What you will be doing
Infrastructure Strategy & Transformation
• Lead the design and execution of a multi-year infrastructure modernization roadmap, with a strong emphasis on cloud migration, automation, and scalability.
• Champion the adoption of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, ensuring secure, cost-effective, and high-performing environments.
• Oversee the decommissioning of legacy systems and the integration of modern platforms that support digital transformation initiatives.
Business Partnership & Alignment
• Act as a strategic advisor to business units, understanding their goals and translating them into infrastructure solutions that drive value.
• Establish governance frameworks and communication channels to ensure infrastructure priorities are aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Responsible for relationship management with our third-party infrastructure vendors
Operational Excellence & Leadership
• Lead a high-performing team of infrastructure professionals across networking, compute, storage, and cloud operations.
• Implement best practices for reliability, performance, and disaster recovery across all infrastructure domains.
• Drive continuous improvement through metrics, automation, and proactive risk management.
Security, Compliance & Sustainability
• Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets regulatory and security standards.
What you will bring along:
• 15+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading cloud transformation and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc…), virtualization, networking, and enterprise architecture.
• Strong business acumen and experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
