Summary:
In this role, you will lead the strategy, performance, and operations of Envi's Data, EDI, and Integration functions. Ensures reliable data exchange, scalable integrations, strategic partnerships, customer insight, and data-enabled value realization. Serves as a senior liaison among customers, suppliers, technology partners, Product, Implementation, Account Management, and technical teams, translating business needs into scalable solutions that support Envi's strategy.
Leadership and Strategy
- Lead and develop the Data, EDI, and Integration organization, setting priorities, performance expectations, accountability, talent development, and resource allocation.
- Develop and execute strategy across Data, EDI, and Integrations, aligning capabilities, service models, technology, and resources with customer needs and Envi objectives.
- Establish reporting and performance measures for data quality, EDI performance, integration delivery, backlog, capacity, customer impact, and operational effectiveness.
- Improve scalability through standardization, process improvement, automation, technology, and AI-enabled capabilities.
EDI Administration
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of trading partner onboarding, transaction management, connectivity, monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
- Establish reliable, scalable EDI standards and best practices across customers, vendors, trading partners, and Envi systems.
- Prioritize and resolve EDI issues while identifying trends and opportunities to improve performance and customer experience.
Data Quality and Delivery
- Oversee the acquisition, validation, cleansing, formatting, and delivery of customer data into Envi, establishing standards for quality, accuracy, timeliness, and performance.
- Drive improvements in data intake and delivery through standardization, automation, workflow improvement, and effective use of technology.
- Align resources and capacity with implementations, ongoing operational needs, and changing business priorities.
Integrations and Partnerships
- Lead Envi's integration strategy and customer-facing integration function across clinical, financial, ERP, and other third-party platforms.
- Serve as a senior customer and partner-facing leader, translating business requirements and technical considerations into clear approaches, expectations, and solutions.
- Develop and manage strategic integration partnerships that expand connectivity, improve implementation options, and support evolving customer needs.
- Provide oversight for complex or high-risk integrations and serves as a senior escalation point for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Establish integration standards, documentation, support models, monitoring, and operational ownership with technical resources.
Industry Engagement and Integration Partnerships
- Own Envi's trade show and conference strategy for Account Management Operations, prioritizing events that provide customer insight, supplier connectivity, integration partner engagement, and partnership opportunities.
- Represent Envi at selected industry events, building relationships with customers, suppliers, technology organizations, and potential integration partners and translating market developments into actionable opportunities.
- Create a consistent process for capturing and sharing customer, industry, technology, supplier, and partnership insights with Product, Sales, Implementation, Account Management, and leadership.
- Coordinate event participation and follow-up across relevant teams to ensure clear objectives and measurable business value.
Envi Spend Optimizer Data and Value Realization
- Lead the end-to-end Envi Spend Optimizer data and utilization program, from data collection, validation, and governance through insight generation, adoption, and measurable value realization.
- Establish the operating model, priorities, performance measures, and cross-functional processes needed to improve ESO data quality, completeness, accessibility, and use.
- Partner with Product, GPO, Commercial, Account Management, Data, and technical teams to translate ESO insights into increased GPO realization, customer opportunities, improved workflows, and product enhancements.
- Lead customer-facing and onsite data discovery, validation, adoption, and optimization activities when in-person engagement will accelerate utilization or resolve barriers.
- Use feedback from ESO users, customers, and internal stakeholders to identify product requirements, data-management improvements, automation opportunities, and scalable approaches for expanding adoption.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner across Envi, Vizient, customer IT organizations, vendors, and technology partners to coordinate priorities, resolve dependencies, and improve the end-to-end customer experience.
- Represent Data, EDI, and Integration needs in strategic and operational planning, bringing forward customer insights, technical considerations, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 7 or more years’ relevant experience leading data operations, EDI, integrations, technical services, or related functions in a software, SaaS, healthcare technology, or similarly complex environment.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical and operational teams and developing talent across differing areas of expertise.
- Strong understanding of EDI, APIs, system integrations, data exchange, and integration platforms sufficient to lead technical resources and translate between business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead customer- and partner-facing discussions with executive presence, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Experience developing operational strategies, performance measures, process improvements, scalable service models, and data-to-value initiatives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Implementation, Account Management, customers, and external partners.
- Experience representing an organization at industry conferences, trade shows, customer forums, or other external events and converting engagement into insights, partnerships, or opportunities.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to support customers, partners, industry engagement, onsite data initiatives, and strategic business priorities.
- Healthcare technology, supply chain, procure-to-pay, or healthcare data integration experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Boomi, MuleSoft, Redox, Mirth Connect, APIs, HL7, EDI, AS2, SFTP, XML, JSON, and web services desired.
- Experience developing or managing technology and integration partnerships preferred.
- Experience leading automation, process modernization, or AI-enabled operational improvement initiatives preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously as needed for clients.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
