The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Devops Engineer to join our growing DevOps group in AspenTech, building the next generation platform for production execution. - Implement, maintain and support CICD pipelines and processes for on-premises and cloud computing infrastructure used day-to-day by the R&D organization for the development, configuration, and delivery of commercial software solutions.
- Actively contribute to improve R&D operational processes.
- Investigate emerging and existing development technologies that can be leveraged to improve software operation/development efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
- 5+ years of knowledge on coding and scripting in the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Experience with Source Control Systems a plus (ex; GitHub, GitLab or Git)
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible, Terraform, Artifactory and Azure DevOps etc.
- Experience with Azure/AWS Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with container architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes a plus.
- Good analytical skills with attention to details.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent team collaboration skills.
- Good appreciation of IT infrastructure components.
- Experienced in scope definition and estimating development effort.
- English fluency (written and verbal) required.
- Ability to take ownership of task and projects.
