The Impact of a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Coupa:

What You'll Do:

Being a DevOps champion - working closely with other Coupa teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development lifecycle
Release engineering for new product releases and maintenance
Participating in design/evaluation of new tools, techniques, and technologies
Contributing to & building the architecture of our Cloud platform and its delivery
Developing tools and software applications using Terraform, YAML, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash to grow our operational stack to the next level
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

Strong node.js, Kubernetes, & AWS experience
Excellent communication skills
8+ years of professional technical experience
4+ years of experience with scripting/programming using Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent.
4+ years of production web operations experience
Experience with building organizationally-scalable CI/CD pipelines in tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipeline infrastructure at scale for tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
Experience building developer-centric shared services platforms
Experience onboarding development teams to Docker, Kubernetes, and/or CI/CD
Experience in Cloud Hosting with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud or equivalent
Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS, or equivalent
Experience with AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, Crossplane, or equivalent
Experience with source control using Git with a solid foundation of branch strategies
Experience deploying and operating immutable infrastructure
Experience with OOP, Design Principles, REST
Experience with Unit and Integration Testing
