As the Sr Engineering Manager for advanced supplier collaboration, you will manage and lead a team that defines and builds products that enable seamless collaboration between our customers and suppliers to manage and reduce supply chain risks, ensuring on-time and on-quality delivery of planned goods/services.

What You'll Do:
- Own & drive the engineering/technical strategy for the team, deliver business critical initiatives in specified timeline and actively contribute towards product roadmap
- Be well versed in S/W architecture and design. Be ready to be a part of design reviews (& code reviews) and ensure right decisions are made across the development lifecycle (Both front end and back end). Raise the bar for engineering standards, tooling and processes
- Collaborate & Partner with peers in Product, Design & Engineering to craft the best building blocks, guidelines, & standards
- Identify broader problems (Product features, End User Experience, Technology & Business), provide multi quarter roadmaps to the team, embrace constraints and prioritize effectively by working with stakeholders & leadership
- Grow and develop teams, drive conversations with the engineers on topics such as career development, and align their growth with the long term vision and wider business needs
- Participate in the end-to-end recruiting process, hiring & on-boarding exceptional engineering talent
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, systems analysis or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 12+ years of experience building enterprise, SaaS web applications using one or more of the following modern frameworks technologies: Java, Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, .Net/C#, SQL, and Typescript and strong knowledge of Javascript, CSS, HTML5.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role building exceptional products that deliver a delightful experience for end customer & 2+ years of experience in people management Full stack web development expertise with hands-on experience building responsive UI, Single Page Applications, reusable components, with a keen eye for UI design and usability.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, and integration with the backend
- Experience building Micro services architectures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for keeping up with the latest trends in the developer community and eagerness to bring in the outside-in thinking in the products we build.
