Sr DevOps Engineer II

Description and Requirements
AI-First DevSecOps
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into CI/CD pipelines for test optimization, anomaly detection, and workflow automation
• Apply AI to enhance incident detection, troubleshooting, and operational insights
• Leverage AI for security automation, including vulnerability prioritization and remediation
Cloud Platform Engineering
• Support and operate Azure-based infrastructure, with a focus on AKS
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, automation, and proactive troubleshooting
• Enable scalable environments for modern and emerging workloads
CI/CD & Developer Enablement
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Drive adoption of GitHub Enterprise and reusable pipeline templates
• Improve developer experience through automation and self-service capabilities
Infrastructure as Code & Modernization
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules aligned with Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
• Support large-scale cloud and platform migration initiatives
• Ensure consistency, compliance, and reusability across environments
DevSecOps & Governance
• Implement secure SDLC and DevSecOps best practices
• Support container security, vulnerability management, and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with security teams on governance and Responsible AI practices
Collaboration & Enablement
• Partner with application teams to onboard and adopt platform capabilities
• Provide troubleshooting and operational support
• Contribute to scalable operating models (e.g., TWOW) across teams
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
Experience • 8+ years of relevant hands on experience in DevSecOps.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
Required Skills
• Cloud: Azure (core services, networking, IAM)
• Containers: Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• Security: Secrets management, vulnerability scanning, secure SDLC practices
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Operations: Troubleshooting, incident response, and reliability engineering
• Observability: Monitoring, logging, and alerting fundamentals
• Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and their application in DevOps and security workflows
• Ability to operate within enterprise governance and Responsible AI guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing and operating AKS platforms at scale
• Advanced CI/CD architecture (reusable workflows, security gates)
• Experience with platform engineering and developer experience optimization
• Knowledge of container governance and image lifecycle management
• Familiarity with identity and access management (Entra ID, RBAC)
• Exposure to SLOs, observability strategy, and incident diagnostics
• Experience with cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
Nice to Have
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise migrations
• Exposure to enterprise cloud transformation initiatives (CAF or similar)
• Experience with security automation or compliance programs
• Interest or experience in AIOps or AI-driven observability
