- YOUR ROLE
• Efficiently develop required turbochargers to meet customer’s needs / Detail task include issuing questionnaire, preparing matching proposal and design requests, procuring hardware and scheduling development project.
• Take leading role in production releasing development turbocharger / Provide all technical document and test data / Actively communicate with associate departments as a team member to ensure smooth production of released turbocharger.
• Provide technical support to meet customer’s needs in terms of turbocharger assembly/disassembly, engine and vehicle testing, installation, field trouble shooting and engineering consultation.
• Carry out instructions from direct supervisor in an effective and timely manner / Write trip report for each business trip / Submit monthly progress report to supervisor.
• Support customers as a back-up for immediate supervisor when he is absent in office.
• Provide technical support for parts localization and cost reduction program.
• Actively Involve in DFSS programs and apply DFSS principles to daily works to solve problems.
- YOUR PROFILE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or System Engineering / Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in validation engineering which includes electrical hardware and software testing.
• Product launch experience
• Understanding of electric motors and electric control units.
• Ability to work in a global, virtual team environment.
• Understanding of Automotive standards is preferred
o LV-123 / VDA-320 Automotive high voltage / 48V
o ISO 16750 / LV-124 Electrical component validation
o HMC/Korean - HV equivalent standards
• Previous experience with high speed motors & Powertrain applications
