What Will You Be Doing?
● Develop Java APIs for managing Jira components, facilitating smooth interaction with component data and team assignments.
● Build batch jobs to maintain mappings. Build new features.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
● Optimize system performance and reduce operational costs through impactful optimizations and infrastructure enhancements.
● Stay updated with industry best practices and contribute to the adoption of these practices within the team.
Requirements
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
● 5-9+ years of industry experience with a BS/Masters or 2+ years with a PhD, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
● Proficiency in one or more back-end server languages (Java/Kotlin/C++/etc.)
● Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript / Typescript, and related web technologies
● Experience working with multi threaded applications and syncing two online systems
● Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g. React)
● Exposure to architectural patterns of a high-scale web applications, such as well-designed APIs, data pipelines and efficient algorithms
● Experience or desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with design, product and data science partners
Skills Required
