The Role
  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Use standardized tools, processes, and design guidelines to create efficient, cost effective solutions to marketing needs.
  • Attend all prototype walks. Manage design changes agreed upon by operating committee.
  • Provide market analysis of competitor products as required by VP.
  • Serve as a mentor to lower level Designers. Provide training on standards and processes.
  • Maintain constant dialogue with team regarding status and progress of projects.

Review all outsourced design providers to adherence to design guidelines.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Design, Construction or equivalent work experience
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Professional registration/license preferred
  • MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Delegates work according to employee's abilities and skills.
  • Provides input to employee's performance evaluations.
  • Assists in the identification of internal and external training opportunities.

Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors).
