Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with experience in data processing, warehousing, and system implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Oracle/SQL, experience with data workflows and warehousing, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure. This role requires both strong technical ability and solid communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into data warehouses or data pipelines.
Design, build, and maintain data processing workflows and data warehousing solutions (e.g., SingleStore, Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance for production data environments.
Handle production support, user queries, and troubleshooting of data-related issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data systems, architecture, and processes.
Implement solutions that ensure data accuracy, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Qualifications and Skills
6–8 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL for data modeling, queries, and performance optimization.
Proven experience in data processing and data warehousing concepts, including application-related workflows.
Flexible and adaptable to learn new technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset and a high aptitude for learning.
Experience working with business users to extract requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
Ability to support production systems, manage uptime, and respond to user inquiries effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
