We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics Regional team of our Center of Excellence in Buenos Aires.
What you will do in this role...
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL pipelines to meet business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize data pipelines for speed, reliability, and code quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement robust monitoring and alerting for critical workflows.
• Use Terraform (or similar tools) to implement and manage scalable infrastructure.
• Partner with stakeholders, including Data Scientists, Developers, Analysts, and Business Teams, to align solutions with business goals.
• Ingest large volumes of data from various platforms, developing high-performance, reliable ETL/ELT code.
• Provide technical support, investigate, and resolve production issues in data pipelines, ensuring minimal disruptions.
• Stay curious and eager to learn, working with cutting-edge cloud technologies to innovate and improve processes.
What You Need to Succeed
• 5+ years of ETL and data warehousing development experience.
• 3+ years designing ETL, ELT, and data lakes on cloud or big data platforms.
• Proven expertise deploying scalable, performant data hubs at a global scale.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies and cloud services like Azure, GCP, Data Bricks, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Spark (Scala/Python/Java), ADLS, Kafka, SQL, Synapse SQL, Cosmos DB, or similar.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data analysis for anomaly detection and data quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience working in agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A working knowledge of English.
It's a Plus If You Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in Data Warehouse projects.
• Knowledge of ADLS, Synapse SQL, GCP BigQuery, or similar tools for performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with partitioning, bucketing, and computational complexity concepts.
