The Role

Sr Data Analytics Manager

The Sr Data Analytics Manager manages a team of experienced professionals that performs difficult and complex analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets to identify current market sector trends and customer patterns. This job oversees the examination and identification of data patterns and trends that help answer business questions and improve decision-making. This job also makes recommendations that address unique opportunities, needs, and challenges, ranging from strategic decisions to building operational analytics products that directly drive the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversees mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques that determine market conditions, project consumer needs and inform business initiatives.

  • Monitors trends found from modeling to inform other lines of business such as product development and marketing decisions.

  • Facilitates research, development and implementation of new and emerging analytics technologies and identifies technology-based business opportunities.

  • Reviews detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries.

  • Develops mechanisms for ensuring that information provided is accurate, meaningful, has integrity, and caters to the needs of the decision makers.

  • Analyzes trends identified in data modeling to inform other lines of business such as product development and marketing decisions.

  • Manages, coaches, directs, assesses performance, and coordinates with direct reports to facilitate execution of the business’ strategies and objectives.

  • Develops and presents detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries.

  • Approves mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques that determine market conditions, project consumer needs and inform business initiatives.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $138,800/yr. - $201,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
