The Senior Data Analytics Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven conversations with our senior leadership. This individual will partner closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to uncover actionable insights and deliver impactful solutions. By leveraging advanced analytical techniques and storytelling skills, the consultant will help shape the future of our business.
This role requires being in the office 3 days/week on Tues - Thurs.
This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including H1B transfers and F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
What you’ll do
Serves as a thought leader for data visualization, developing new methodologies to improve individual and team performance
Lead Data and Analytics professionals, IT, Sales, and customers to design, document, test, and support the construction of internal and customer facing Data Visual solutions that tell the desired insights story
Create strategies, standards and best practices in the areas of data visualization, data access and data integration within Equifax’s new big data analytical platforms
Build and design dashboards and reports as scoped by clients and internal teams that summarize vast quantities of data
Create eye catching and informative presentation-ready visualizations and analyses for internal or external clients using Spotfire and/or other open source visualization technologies
Build wireframes and mockups of dashboards and reports as needed to communicate visualization/ functionality internally and to clients
Define complex agile data methodologies for extraction and transformation of data using platforms like SQL, R, Hive, Impala, and/or Python to derive data marts to drive dashboards and visualizations. Serve as a formal or informal leader of small team, establishment priorities to align with the business strategy
What experience you need:
BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline; Master’s Degree strongly preferred
7+ years of experience in a related role, with experience demonstrating leadership capabilities
Cloud certification strongly preferred
Experience working in multiple languages including, JavaScript, Python, and SQL
Experience using Tableau & BI tools is a plus
