What You'll Bring:
- 5 years plus of expereince in a data analysis, data transformation or data reporting role. This role is a hybrid role and you must be based in the Philadelphia metro area.
- Enterprise level experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or other RDBMS
- Ability to create intermediate level SQL queries (aggregates, conditional statements, sub queries, etc.) and analyze large data sets resulting in problem resolutions and improvement recommendations.
- Ability to import/export, manipulate and transpose large data sets in a database in order to effectively troubleshoot issues and conduct data analysis.
- Proven ability to read and analyze raw data files and compare with transformed data to identify processing problems (e.g. A/B testing).
- Experience working with ETL tools.
- Ability to engage in high-level technical conversations with internal groups to understand system objectives and in turn convey concise and logical findings of data analysis.
- Ability to engage in high-level conversations with business groups to ensure customer expectations are being met or exceeded.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field preferred.
Impact You'll Make:
- Provide a resource for conducting research projects and customer validations, internally auditing the performance of DHI's product offerings and reporting work.
- Utilize strong analytical and technical skills to conduct research projects involving both raw and standardized data.
- Onboard, validate, execute, summarize and reconcile external customer validation tests.
- Execute and summarize detailed driver and violation level analysis between public record data and state MVRs.
- Exercise strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate findings and concerns to relevant teams.
- Maintain a strong focus on producing clean, consistent and complete data in a high speed, data-centric work environment.
- Develop into a subject matter expert on court data, MVR’s, TransUnion's public record driving data the Web Service used to search that data.
- Create, update and maintain reports and alerts to ensure both management and operational teams receive the information they need in a timely manner.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
