Sr. Data & AI Engineer AzurionEye
You will develop core components of an AI-enabled clinical software platform for Azurion. The platform functions as a clinical co‑pilot, delivering real-time insights, automation, and decision support during minimally invasive procedures. The role combines hands-on AI engineering with backend and platform integration in a regulated medical environment.
Your role:
- Own and design AI platform subsystems (AI Operator and/or AI Orchestrator)
- Drive technical decisions for scalability and robustness
- Mentor engineers and support technical best practices
- Contribute to platform architecture and AI roadmap decision
- Develop real-time AI inference and GPU-accelerated model execution
- Integrate and optimize AI models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorRT, and CUDA
- Build workflow orchestration and data management services in Golang
- Deploy AI components on Linux-based, containerized platforms
- Ensure platform performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- You will work within a multidisciplinary team of AI scientists, software architects, system engineers, and clinical experts. Together, you will translate research-grade AI into scalable, compliant software integrated into Philips’ interventional imaging systems. Your work contributes to the evolution of the Azurion AI platform and broader ecosystem.
You're the right fit if:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Leadership skills; experience providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers
- Experience deploying deep learning models to production environments
- Strong Python skills; experience with Golang is a plus
- Hands-on experience with GPU acceleration and CUDA
- Solid Linux background and experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
- Understanding of AI inference pipelines and real-time or distributed systems
- Ownership-driven, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a regulated medical domain
