In this role, you will work with the Project Controls Advisor to monitor, control and report projects’ cost during the execution phase, managed by the assigned project management teams. This includes ensuring field costs are identified, accounted for and reported in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with the company’s established business practices and procedures.

What You Will Do:

  • Collecting information for project cost estimates, on going monitoring and control of project costs incurred, cost forecasting, cost variance analysis and reporting.

  • Provide in-depth analysis of projects during construction and report current progress and issues to enable proactive communication for risks mitigation.

  • Support invoicing process including attesting.

  • Assist Project Controls Advisor (PCA) in gathering accruals and finalizing incurred cost and forecast for construction and construction services.
     

Who You Are:

  • Degree or diploma in related field such as business, engineering, or construction.

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience. Note a combination of education and experience will be considered. Without a degree, you are required to have 5 years of experience.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a team environment.

  • Possess an aptitude for successfully building relationships with employees, internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.

  • Ability to comfortably work with Microsoft Office software, company financial systems, enterprise structure and standard operating procedures, etc.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Limited travel.
     

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone
