Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Coordinator Quality Control to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minutedelivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!
You will be incharge of managing quality of inbound/outbound products in the warehouse as per the quality standards set by the company
What’s On Your Plate?
Oversees quality, freshness, and food safety of products in a distribution center as they flow from suppliers through distribution centers to stores.
Inspect quality of adequate samples of inbound and outbound warehouse products to ensure predefined quality standards are met
Ensures 3rd party compliance with company policies and procedures for all activities related to stock management (inbound, storage, handling and outbound)
Communicate with the commercial team regarding quality of products being received into the distribution center
Conduct cycle counts
Conduct regular check on ready to ship orders
Report/Escalate any major issues noticed to IC management in a timely manner
Monitoring performance of warehouse activities and practices, and preparing management and technical reports
Determine/Recommend required enhancements and/or training needs for 3rd party staff and discuss with management
Assess/Review implementation of approved policies & procedures and quality standards
At least 3 years of experience in FMCG Retail business
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Excel
Proficiency in English Language, Arabic preferred
