We are looking for a Sr. Events Operations Manager to manage our robust client entertainment program and drive client engagement through high-profile events. This role will oversee partnerships with MetLife Stadium and Madison Square Garden (MSG), handling everything from Giants games and concerts to Knicks and Rangers events. You will work closely with sales and revenue teams to fill and invite clients to events, managing every aspect from ticketing to catering coordination. This role will also be responsible for executing all owned client activations such as the Valentine’s Day Bloom Bar, coffee hours and lunch and learns. 


This position will be located in our NYC office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thu/Fri).


Core Responsibilities


Event Management:

Oversee client entertainment programs, including lunch and learns, agency outings across regions, and manage Cognitiv’s MetLife and MSG event partnerships.

Coordinate event logistics such as ticketing, catering, client invites and printing event collateral.

Serve as the point of contact between Cognitiv and venue teams, ensuring smooth communication and execution of all events.


Client Engagement:

Work closely with sales and revenue leaders to target and invite clients and prospects to events, ensuring maximum attendance.

Manage weekly communication with clients about upcoming events, providing details and handling calendar invites.


Reporting & Budget Tracking:

Track and upload campaigns in Salesforce, managing ROI reporting across multiple partnerships.

Maintain a budget tracker to monitor spending on client entertainment and assess the return on investment.


Other Responsibilities:

Attend and coordinate events during after hours and occasional weekends, particularly on game and concert days.

Travel as required to support events in various locations.


Requirements

1+ years of experience as an event coordinator/specialist or client relations within a marketing or sales organization.

Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Excellent analytical skills; ability to track and measure ROI using data.


Preferred Qualifications

Past experience working with sports partnerships or large entertainment venues.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Familiarity with Salesforce and event management software.



Salary: 70,000-100,000 Base Salary + Equity
