Role

The core focus of this role is to advise product and technology teams on privacy, data ethics, legal and regulatory matters, and other compliance considerations in product design and development. You will develop and maintain due diligence materials such as data maps and compliance questionnaires to support customer onboarding, as well as serve as an internal expert and resource to troubleshoot product compliance inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Review product requirements, designs, and development plans to proactively identify compliance risks and considerations from early stages.
  • Research privacy regulations and craft data governance policies balancing customer expectations and compliance obligations.
  • Author due diligence artifacts and support sales team and customers through diligence processes and audits.
  • Triage and address incoming compliance questions related to Reorg's products and data practices. Coordinate cross-functional resolution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in privacy, compliance or related field
  • Expertise interpreting and applying data privacy laws and regulations
  • Experience supporting tech products through due
    diligence

Preferred experience:

  • Prior role within a SaaS organization
  • Familiarity with financial information/data products

Salary range: $100K-120K base + 15% bonus.
