We are looking for a senior technology individual contributor to help shape the next chapter of engineering and AI across Personal Lines Solutions. This role provides technical leadership across a broad PLS application portfolio and helps advance AI expertise and execution across the organization.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of modern engineering, platform transformation, and applied AI. The leader in this role will influence technology direction across value streams, partner with tech leads, architects, agile leaders, and senior leadership, and help turn emerging AI capabilities into practical outcomes for software delivery, business value, and IT operations.
The work spans high-impact priorities such as Guidewire modernization, performance optimization across core customer journeys, AI-assisted delivery patterns, and agentic AI use cases. In this role, you will:
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate business objectives into practical, scalable technical solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity, delivery speed, quality, and operational efficiency through modern technologies, including AI enabled capabilities.
Develop technology recommendations and implementation roadmaps that align with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understood by both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Influence technical decisions across product, engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams without direct management responsibility.
Drive modernization efforts through APIs, cloud technologies, platform improvements, and application optimization.
Improve release quality, reduce technology risk, and promote secure software engineering and DevSecOps best practices.
Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and engineering standards to elevate overall team capability.
