1. About the JobAs the Sr. Compensation Analyst, you will support the administration and evolution of OpenTable’s global compensation programs and philosophy. Working closely with the Sr. Manager of Compensation, you will play a key role in ensuring our pay for performance culture and processes are rigorous and market-aligned. This is an opportunity to contribute to a global team, helping us maintain competitive programs that support our mission to serve restaurants so they can serve the world.
2. Responsibilities- Own the analysis and structuring of efficient global compensation programs to ensure organizational alignment and market competitiveness.
- Support the semi-annual compensation cycles by managing data analysis and troubleshooting technical issues with the HRIS systems team.
- Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to provide data-driven recommendations that support hiring, internal movement, and strategy alignment.
- Develop a deep understanding of the OpenTable organizational structure and business to inform accurate, rigorous market pricing and benchmarking.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance for global stakeholders by managing compensation and equity reporting workstreams with our holding company.
- 5+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a related analytical field such as Financial Planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with macros and VBA for complex data modeling.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver high-quality, error-free work products with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex compensation fundamentals to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Workday’s advanced compensation functionality and HRIS systems.
- Technical proficiency or education related to APIs and SQL queries.
- Background working in high-technology or internet-based environments.
- Experience in both "in-house" and consulting environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $120,000-$140,000.

This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.
