Position Description

The Senior Communications Manager – Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing strategic internal communications that support HR programs, executive messaging, and company-wide initiatives. This highly strategic role partners closely with HR leadership and senior executives to translate complex business and people strategies into clear, engaging, and impactful communications. The role also plays a critical part in creating high-quality executive and event presentations that align with organizational priorities, values, and brand standards.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging, and consistent company-wide internal communications aligned with business objectives and company values.
  • Create and execute communication plans for HR initiatives including benefits, performance management, DEI, learning & development, and employee engagement events.
  • Translate complex HR and business content into accessible, employee-friendly messaging that supports change management efforts.
  • Manage internal communication channels including our new Workvivo platform.
  • Prepare high-impact PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership, including:
    • Quarterly Operations Reviews
    • Town Halls
    • Annual Sales Meetings
    • Customer-facing presentations
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to ensure messaging is strategically aligned, visually compelling, and audience appropriate.
  • Maintain a communications calendar to manage message cadence, timing, and prioritization.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, Executive teams, and external brand/PR partners to ensure consistency of message and tone.
  • Track engagement metrics (e.g., open rates, feedback, participation) and use insights to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
  • Support leadership and HR teams with sensitive and high-impact communications, including business priorities, organizational and policy changes.
  • Develop and maintain communication templates, tone guides, and visual standards for internal communications and presentations.
  • Recommend and leverage communication tools and platforms to improve reach and employee engagement.

What You Will Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or HR communications.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and translate business strategy into compelling communications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, including visual storytelling and executive-level presentation design.
  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders and managing executive and C-suite communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, change, and sensitive topics with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong collaboration skills with HR, Marketing, and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with HR programs, employee engagement strategies, or change management communications is a strong asset.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
