About the role:
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, I lead the development and implementation of secure cloud networking architectures and infrastructure solutions. I collaborate with clients, guiding in the design and execution of enterprise-grade AWS networking solutions with integrated security frameworks. I take a leading role in the construction of network automation and security orchestration, driving efficient and secure cloud infrastructure delivery. I am also responsible for championing security-first networking principles and advanced firewall management.
What we are looking for:
- Advanced AWS networking experience (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53)
- 5-6 years' experience with enterprise networking and cloud security
- Lead in developing and implementing end-to-end cloud networking architectures
- Strong experience with AWS networking services and security groups
- Deep understanding of network security, zero-trust architecture, and cloud security frameworks
- Experience with managing Palo Alto firewalls and network security appliances
- Expertise with Appgate SDP (Software Defined Perimeter) solutions
- In-depth knowledge of network automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Extensive experience in secure network design and implementation
- Exceptional network troubleshooting and security incident response capabilities
- Dedicated to network automation, security orchestration, and compliance
- Experience in setting up and integrating enterprise-grade cloud networking services
- Proficiency with network monitoring, logging, and security analytics tools
- Ability to oversee network security policies and firewall rule management
- Experience with software-defined networking and microsegmentation
- Programming skills for network automation and security tooling
Highly preferred:
- Advanced Palo Alto Firewall administration and policy management
- Expertise with Appgate SDP deployment and management
- Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, Palo Alto PCNSE, or Appgate certified
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Secret clearance
Work Type:
- Remote – Candidate must reside within 40 miles of one of the following locations: Colorado Springs, CO; San Antonio, TX; McLean, VA; Boston, MA; Tampa, FL; or Dayton, OH. Applicants located outside of these areas must relocate or will not be considered.
