Sr Cloud Financial Operations Analyst RemoteJob Description
The Senior Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) Analyst will be an integral member of the IT cloud platform team continuously innovating and improving our path on cloud financial controls and optimization, while helping to drive a culture of accountability regarding efficient cloud usage/spend. This position will be part of the overall IT organization and will work together with Prime’s finance teams to ensure financial rigor on cloud spend through cloud controls and processes.
Responsibilities
- Models and calculates savings opportunities and prepares cloud optimization recommendations; establishes and maintains proper governance process for recommendation review and implementation of application and services from on-premises to public cloud services while gaining alignment with leadership
- Partner with Cloud platform team to prioritize and implement cost optimization recommendations and best practices
- Create reports and processes to effectively monitor Prime’s Cloud spend; prepare and present Cloud financial data to inform IT, Finance and business leadership of budget forecasting and synergies
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
- 5 years of work experience in financial analysis including 2 years of work experience in IT or related field and 2 years of work experience with public cloud providers (GCP, Azure and AWS)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of cloud financial practices and cost controls, usage patterns and pricing; AWS, GCP, OCI and/or Azure
- Demonstrated ability in driving business, culture, and technology changes in a dynamic and complex operating environment
- Ability to communicate technical and financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex initiatives, provide direction on competing priorities, and deliver services without compromising quality and standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership/people management experience
- PBM or healthcare industry experience

Reporting Structure
- Reports to an IT Manager
Potential pay for this position ranges from $85,600.00 - $128,400.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
