The stated pay range is based on a national-average location.  Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location.  This position is bonus eligible. Candidates and associates may be asked to travel to corporate offices for interviews, training and/or meetings.  Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

The Sr Business Development Analyst is responsible for overseeing all BLS/AS communications in alignment with firm protocols and regulatory standards. Serves as the firm’s Marketing Principal (Series 24), with final approval authority over communications created by the firm and field representatives, ensuring compliance and consistency. Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of content including creation, approval, distribution, and maintenance across digital platforms, newsletters, and public-facing materials. Partners with internal teams and external vendors to support marketing initiatives, training content, and event coordination. Leads efforts to enhance communication systems and processes, maintain a robust knowledgebase, and ensure a seamless user experience across web applications. Acts as liaison to the marketing department and field advisory committees, and coordinates key events such as conferences and forums.
As a Sr. Business Development Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the firm’s Marketing Principal (Series 24) with final approval authority for all firm and field representative/advisor communications, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Review FR/FA-created communications to assess intent, usage, and potential risk to the firm, and provide guidance to bring content into compliance when necessary.
  • Facilitate the approval process for new vendors, including contract sourcing, prior to content review and integration into firm communications.
  • Partner with CNO marketing teams and internal stakeholders to support blog and social media content, marketing campaigns, and broader corporate initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain digital content across BLAS Digital Presence, BSPN, SharePoint, and other platforms (e.g., aDvance), ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.
  • Develop and implement standards and best practices for content creation, distribution, and maintenance in accordance with BLS/AS policies and CNO requirements.
  • Collaborate with BLS/AS leadership to improve systems and processes related to public communications, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee firm-level mailings, electronic communications, and bi-monthly newsletters, working with internal partners to optimize outreach strategies.
  • Support training and development efforts by partnering with the Field Development Group on onboarding and educational content for field representatives.
  • Coordinate key events and committees, including Wealth Management Conferences, Essentials sessions, monthly forums, Field Advisory Committees, and participation in industry conferences.
     

The Sr. Business Development Analyst, position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical teams, as well as FRs and IAs.
  • Knowledge of FINRA Rule 2210 and ability to apply standards and recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of mutual funds, annuities, general securities, and advisory accounts.
  • Computer/navigational skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Effective time-management skills to meet service level agreements and/or project deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and use new technologies as needed.
     

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance and Marketing or a minimum of 8 years experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the related field.
  • FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65 or 66, or ability to obtain within a specified time frame.
     

What will set you apart:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance and marketing.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the related field.
  • Active FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65 or 66

Compensation

Pay Range: $89,200.00 - $133,800.00 Annual
