We are looking for a Business Analyst for HR systems in Hong Kong.
As part of the IT team, you’ll work actively with HR business users and other development teams to design, develop, enhance and maintain the HR applications and system integration under HR vertical within Corporate IT Delivery Team.
This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to understand the domain topics, perform in-depth analysis, and define solutions. You will also have the opportunity to manage projects, SDLC from project initiation to go-live.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Liaise with HR stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design technology solutions that support regulatory and operational objectives.
Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies on business requirements, and recommend aligned technology strategies.
Prepare and maintain business requirement documents, test scenarios, and user manuals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, vendors, and internal IT teams to deliver technology solutions.
Participate in project planning, scope management, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop, coordinate, and execute UAT plans, test cases, and defect management activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
QA Testing and ensure changes is rigorously tested before providing in UAT to users
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities from initiation, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Ensure solutions (either in-house or vendor) comply with CLSA standards and practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in IT or Business discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a BA/PM or similar role, with a focus on HR systems or operations. (Candidates with less experience will be considered as Business Analyst)
Familiarity with HR IT solution delivery processes
Strong Software Delivery Management, creating and tracking project plans and working across many teams globally within IT and the Business in order to achieve success
Extensive knowledge Workday HRMS would be an advantage
Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, or scripting languages is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Hands-on experience in system testing and UAT — including writing test scripts, coordinating test cycles, and managing defect resolution.
Strong troubleshooting skills and organization skills— ability to diagnose system issues, perform root cause analysis, read application logs, and work with technical teams to drive resolution under pressure.
