DEVELOP SOFTWARE AND SERVICES AT ENTERPRISE GRADE SCALE ACCOMPANIED WITH GOVERNANCE, TRUST AND SECURITY. WORK WITH TEAMS OF PRODUCT MANAGERS, DESIGNERS, AND ARCHITECTS TO BUILD APPLICATION LAYER SOFTWARE SERVICES TO MAKE ADMINISTRATION OF ATLASSIAN PRODUCTS SIMPLE AT THE ENTERPRISE SCALE. DRIVE INNOVATIVE IMPROVEMENTS AND DEVELOP CREATIVE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS FOR THE ATLASSIAN CLOUD SERVICE USING MODERN OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, SUCH AS JAVA, SCALA, PYTHON, JAVASCRIPT, ETC. AND DATABASE TECHNOLOGY E.G., RDBMS LIKE ORACLE OR POSTGRES AND/ OR NOSQL LIKE DYNAMODB OR CASSANDRA. CRAFT AND IMPLEMENT HIGH-PERFORMANCE RESTFUL MICRO-SERVICES TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE CAPABLE OF SERVING MILLIONS OF REQUESTS A DAY FOR THE ENTERPRISES BASED ON UNDERSTANDING OF SAAS, PAAS, LAAS INDUSTRY WITH HANDS ON EXPERIENCE OF PUBLIC CLOUD OFFERINGS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AWS, GAE, AZURE. EVALUATE TRADEOFFS BETWEEN CORRECTNESS, ROBUSTNESS, PERFORMANCE, SPACE AND TIME OF SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. PROACTIVELY IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE THE DESIGN, INTERFACE, AND ARCHITECTURE OF ATLASSIAN'S SOFTWARE PRODUCTS ON THE CLOUD APPLYING FAMILIARITY OF CLOUD ARCHITECTURE PATTERNS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING OR A RELATED FIELD PLUS FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE CRAFTING AND IMPLEMENTING HIGH-PERFORMANCE RESTFUL MICRO-SERVICES, INCLUDING EXPERIENCE WITH MODERN OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, SUCH AS JAVA, SCALA, PYTHON, JAVASCRIPT, ETC.; DATABASE TECHNOLOGY, E.G., RDBMS LIKE ORACLE OR POSTGRES AND/OR NOSQL LIKE DYNAMODB OR CASSANDRA; AND APPLYING UNDERSTANDING OF SAAS, PAAS, LAAS INDUSTRY WITH HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH PUBLIC OR PRIVATE CLOUD OFFERINGS (E.G., AWS, GAE, AZURE) AND FAMILIARITY WITH CLOUD ARCHITECTURE PATTERNS.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: MASTER'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING OR A RELATED FIELD PLUS TWO (2) YEARS OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE CRAFTING AND IMPLEMENTING HIGH-PERFORMANCE RESTFUL MICRO-SERVICES, INCLUDING EXPERIENCE WITH MODERN OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, SUCH AS JAVA, SCALA, PYTHON, JAVASCRIPT, ETC.; DATABASE TECHNOLOGY, E.G., RDBMS LIKE ORACLE OR POSTGRES AND/OR NOSQL LIKE DYNAMODB OR CASSANDRA; AND APPLYING UNDERSTANDING OF SAAS, PAAS, LAAS INDUSTRY WITH HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH PUBLIC OR PRIVATE CLOUD OFFERINGS (E.G., AWS, GAE, AZURE) AND FAMILIARITY WITH CLOUD ARCHITECTURE PATTERNS.

OFFERED WAGE: $283,442 TO $325,958 PER YEAR
