Sr. ATE Test Engineer

Alphawave Semi is seeking for a Sr. Test Engineer within its Silicon Operations organization who will partner with DFT engineering, product engineering, and test engineering teams to drive excellence into our semiconductor testing processes. As a Sr. Test Engineer at Alphawave Semi, you will make contributions by developing test program and hardware to bring product from NPI to production. You will work with DFT engineering team for test pattern delivery and checkout. You will work with engineering and operations teams to develop, release, and document test programs for prototype, characterization, and production.

What you'll do:

  • Define test strategy, specifications, and plan by working with DFT engineering and product engineering teams.
  • Lead test hardware design, validation, bring-up, and debug by working with test hardware suppliers.
  • Develop test programs on Advantest V93000 test platform.
  • Manage data collection, analysis, and characterization for assigned products.
  • Release and manage production test programs at OSAT suppliers.
  • Work with Asia engineering teams to ensure production testing ramp and resolve any test related issues in production.
  • Develop new test concepts and techniques to improve production test program and reduce test cost.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Advantest V93000 test platform development; familiar with ATPG/JTAG/SCAN/MBIST/SerDes/UCIe tests.
  • 5+ years of experience with yield improvement and test time reduction activities.
  • Solid background in sort testing, ATE testing, and DFT methodology.
  • Ability to collaborate with semiconductor test suppliers to improve testing process.
  • Excellent debugging skills.

Salary and Benefits

We offer great compensation packages, including a salary that aligns with each candidate's skills and experience. Your contribution will be recognized with a base salary within the range of $135,000 to $175,000 annually, with the exact compensation within this range to be determined based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience and location.
