Position Overview:  

We are growing our Modern Infrastructure practice, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aruba Network Consultant based in the Utah area (Salt Lake City, Provo, or surrounding metros preferred).  This role is for a hands-on technical expert who will lead the planning, design, and deployment of complex Aruba wired and wireless solutions for our Enterprise customers. This position is unique in its dual focus: it involves both project delivery and critical pre-sales support for our local sales team. Due to our client base and the nature of the work, this is a Utah-based position with an expectation for regular travel and onsite presence at client locations within the region. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Project Delivery & Implementation: Implements pre-approved Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring successful delivery of Aruba network solutions on time and within scope while adhering to Arctiq’s quality standards. 
  • Wired/Wireless Implementation: Expertly deploys and manages Aruba's core networking components: 
  • Wired Switching: In-depth configuration of the Aruba CX OS switching portfolio (VSX, VSF, OSPF, BGP, etc.). 
  • Wireless Networking: Expert configuration and troubleshooting of Aruba OS (AOS 8/10) Mobility Conductors/Controllers and Access Points. 
  • Network Design & Architecture: Leads the technical design and validation phases for new wired and wireless network architectures, producing comprehensive and compliant High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation. 
  • Migration Leadership: Plans and executes complex network migrations, successfully transitioning core and access infrastructure from legacy and competitor platforms (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) to the Aruba ecosystem (ShiftIQ service). 
  • Pre-Sales Support: Serves as the primary technical subject matter expert for the local sales team, participating in technical discovery, architecting tailored solutions, delivering technical presentations, and accurately contributing to SOWs, Sizing, and Bill of Materials (BOMs). 
  • Onsite Presence: Requires the flexibility to travel and work onsite at client locations within the Utah area for project kickoffs, critical implementations, and key pre-sales engagements. 
  • Troubleshooting: Serves as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex wired and wireless performance, connectivity, and security issues. 

Qualifications: 

  • Local Residency Requirement: Must currently reside in the Utah area and be willing to travel to client sites within the region. 
  • Expertise in Aruba Switching (CX OS): Proven mastery of the Aruba CX switching architecture and OS features. 
  • Expertise in Aruba Wireless (AOS 8/10): Proven mastery of the Aruba Mobility architecture and wireless design principles. 
  • Network Design Experience: A strong, proven track record of designing, building, and documenting resilient, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade LAN and WLAN solutions. 
  • Migration Proficiency: Direct, hands-on experience in planning and executing successful network replacements/migrations from other vendor technologies to Aruba. 

How will you stand out? 

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field and 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Senior Network Consultant role with a focus on Aruba. 
  • Experience with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM): Proven expertise in the design, deployment, and administration of ClearPass for 802.1X, profiling, posture assessment, and guest access. 
  • Experience utilizing Aruba Central for cloud-based network operations and management. 
  • Aruba Certifications at the Professional or Expert Level are highly desired (see below). 
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and C-level customer leadership. 
  • Experience integrating Aruba solutions with other security platforms (e.g., firewalls, SIEM).

  • Professional Level Certifications are a plus: 
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) 
  • Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) 
  • Expert Level Certifications are a significant advantage: 
  • Aruba Certified ClearPass Expert (ACCX) 
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) 
  • Aruba Certified Switching Expert (ACSX) 
  • Other relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CWNE).

  • Bonus Incentive: 10% of base pay, paid quarterly based on performance and company metrics.
