GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for the design and implementation of IT processes. Provides support to functional areas by creating and communicating solutions to complex problems and projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Applies advanced problem solving skills and executes solutions to complex problems independently.
Applies learned IT skills to work assignments.
Coaches and mentors IT tasks and skills to others.
Develops and implements IT processes.
Identifies opportunities and owns improvements to technologies and IT processes.
Leads, defines and completes complex IT tasks independently; may lead small projects.
Manages and accountable for project completions.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Presents work output in a clear and concise manner.
 
Additional Essential Functions
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
• Applies knowledge of ERP to anticipate and solve complex business needs.
• Participates in a collaborative environment to achieve expected results.
• Understanding of core business practices and how ERP solutions can support them.
• Utilize agile methodology to achieve project success.
• Utilize out of the box solutions to solve ERP business problems.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant academic discipline preferred.
 6 years of professional IT & IS experience.
 0-2 years of prior participation on project teams.
Licenses and Certifications
 
Skills and Abilities
Expert knowledge of how current trends and technology may be used to support business partners.
Proficient understanding of and ability to identify how technology solves business problems.
Core understanding of and ability to connect the needs of multiple Herman Miller functional areas.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
 
Additional Skills and Abilities
5-7 years' experience in ERP applications.
Participation in a cross-functional implementation team which completed a long-term projects.
Experience with utilizing agile methodology to achieve project success.
Experience with ERP implementations. Experience with Infor LN preferred.
