At Databricks, our mission is to radically simplify the entire data lifecycle—from ingestion to ETL, BI, and through to ML/AI. To achieve this goal, we believe the traditional data warehouse architecture will be replaced by the new Data Intelligence Platform built on the Lakehouse, an open platform that unifies data warehousing and advanced analytics. The GTM Sr. Analytics Engineer will leverage the Data Intelligence Platform to deliver analytics utilizing our GTM data.
Reporting to the Snr. Manager, GTM Analytics Engineering, the Senior Analytics Engineer will provide support in the form of data and analytics to both support the greater Strategy and Operations team as well as teams in the field. Support can mean building dashboards, developing curated reporting tables or reports, building forecasts, ad hoc analysis or other simple models, all with the intention of providing visibility and insight to the field and their businesses.
The role will require technical and project management skills, including the ability to work independently and the ability to partner with stakeholders, including GTM leaders and others within the broader analytics community. Understanding the technology stack and how the data flows between systems (Salesforce, HG Insights, ZoomInfo, etc.) is crucial. The analyst will become an expert on using the Databricks Platform and complimentary technologies for analyzing data and presenting insight.
The Impact You Will Have :
- Build: You will develop analytic tools including dashboards, tables, analyses, and models that will be used by hundreds of employees in the field (technical and non-technical sales) as well as leaders across the globe
- Project Manage: You will both manage the requirements gathering and lead the execution of strategic analytic projects
- Relationships: You will build and manage relationships with stakeholders across the company but primarily with the GTM strategy and operations team
- Use Databricks: You will work every day with a variety of data using Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform
What we look for:
- You have 3+ years of experience working as an Analyst / Data Engineer with B2B sales, marketing, or finance data.
- You are highly technical with extensive knowledge of data systems and architectures.
- You have advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies such as Spark, Delta Lake.
- You have experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and working with both relational and NoSQL databases is essential.
- Experience with CRM Analytics or Databricks is a plus.
- You have a passion for building robust, scalable data infrastructure and optimizing data flows.
- You enjoy developing efficient data pipelines and storage solutions to enable data scientists and analysts to derive actionable insights. While you focus primarily on data architecture and system performance, you also understand the importance of data quality and governance in supporting business objectives.
