The Opportunity
Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a dedicated and proactive Wafer/Die Planning Specialist to play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the timely delivery of wafers and dies, directly impacting our production efficiency and financial objectives. You will be at the forefront of managing critical supply chain processes, identifying and mitigating risks, and contributing to the strategic growth of Allegro in the semiconductor industry. What You Will Do
Analyzing, planning, initiating, and implementing all wafer/die-related efforts to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with Allegro's financial objectives.
Creating, analyzing, maintaining, and closing Purchase Documents to ensure the accuracy of MRP data in Oracle.
Proactively identifying potential bottlenecks or areas that could delay wafer/die deliveries, impact Assembly production, or significantly affect the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Taking decisive actions to prevent delays and collaborating with other departments and management as necessary to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Timely and accurate development and completion of business projects associated with production plans, inventory, and capacity planning.
Fully understanding all Wafer and Probe planning processes and proactively highlighting issues that may impact Allegro's supply chain.
Maintaining the Foundry/Probe planning performance scorecard and actively participating in strategic business review meetings.
Managing the Rough-cut capacity plan model to ensure weekly Build Plan and monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) are capacity feasible.
Measuring and interpreting performance data using 95th percentile statistical standards.
Who You Are
A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field of study.
APICS certification is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in material planning, preferably within the semiconductor or hi-tech industry.
Required experience in Wafer Planning.
Experience with constraint planning tools is preferred.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Kinaxis RapidResponse.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Strong data analytical skills and experience using analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
The ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple deliverables with competing priorities under pressure.
A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively with both internal and external customers.
A detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on data quality.
