SUMMARY

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team in Daytona Beach, FL. You will play a critical role in managing TopBuild’s liquidity and short-term investments, supporting the M&A process and evaluating strategic funding alternatives. This position requires regular weekly onsite presence at the office in Daytona Beach, FL. After training, hybrid option may be available up to 2 days/ week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare daily cash position report for distribution to CFO and Treasurer
  • Invest daily excess cash in compliance with TopBuild’s short-term investment policy
  • Own the cash forecasting process/model and issue weekly publication to Finance Leadership
  • Liaise with banking partners to make decisions on products and services to support Treasury operations
  • Provide treasury expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams such as AP, Payroll, Tax, Accounting, and Finance
  • Lead the company’s quarterly debt compliance & monitoring activities
  • Support TopBuild share repurchase strategy development and execution
  • Support company M&A activities including Treasury integrations, funds flow preparation and negotiation and administration of transaction escrow arrangements
  • Review and execute wire transfer payment requests to ensure proper authorization and accuracy of payments
  • Prepare various daily, monthly, and quarterly Treasury reports for the CFO, Treasurer and senior management
  • Identify and execute process automation and cost reduction opportunities 

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Accounting, Economics, Finance)
  • Special Requirements: May work beyond normal company hours due to business/customer need.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum experience: 2-3 years of experience in Treasury
  • Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction
  • Ability to evaluate processes and use relevant information to create process improvements

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Type of Travel Required: National

Amount of Travel Required: 10%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting of boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.

Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
