Job Summary
Assist with tax compliances, tax audit and litigation support and tax provision process. Maintains tax systems, tax files, and tax work-papers to comply with internal and external tax reporting guidelines independently. High working knowledge of tax compliance and process for tax reporting. Prepares tax provision workpapers in accordance with ASC740 and prepares workpapers to support tax returns. Identifies opportunities for tax savings and potential deductions and assist with tax projects related to tax planning, restructuring etc. Collects, organizes, and analyzes financial data and assesses the impact of new tax laws. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Asist with the tax provision work for US GAAP purposes for the assigned jurisdictions in Europe
- Assist with tax compliance by preparing tax returns and supporting work papers for multiple jurisdictions in Europe and for this coordinate with the external advisors
- Assist and provide support with tax audits, investigations and controversy responses in the European jurisdictions
- Assist with tax planning opportunities.
- Assist other functions for tax related queries eg. accounting, supply chain, marketing, legal and HR as well coordinates with external tax advisors
Education:
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA Required
- Preferred Level: Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience:
- Minimum Required: 5+ years experience in tax at a Big Four
Pre-Requisite/ Qualification
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment background check.
