Job Overview:

The Succession & Protection Planning team is part of LPL’s Financial Solutions group – a fast-growing division with an entrepreneurial spirit focused on delivering innovative, industry-leading services to help advisor practices grow, protect, and plan for their legacy. LPL's Financial Solutions group is seeking a Senior Analyst to help deliver seamless Succession Planning Support offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand continuity, succession, valuation, and corporate planning options to guide advisors to make educated decisions

  • Support and evolve succession service offerings and maintain/create efficient processes

  • Manage succession planning projects and workflows utilizing internal resources to ensure milestones are completed and advisor expectations are met

  • Support succession planning engagements with the ability to implement clear and concise strategies

  • Generalist skillset with the ability to turn a complex succession process into a seamless transaction for clients at all levels of expertise

  • Support escalations by both internal business partners and our advisors

  • Interface with business unit counterparts to address specific needs of advisors

  • Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes where feasible to create a highly scalable, flexible, and efficient infrastructure

  • Manage reporting and analysis to drive advisor business decisions

  • Assist with the enhancement of LPL’s internal library of succession planning educational resources and content

  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial data entry, valuation, and additional responsibilities as required

  • Present new ideas as we expand and iterate on our product offerings

  • Ability to think strategically and provide insights related to advisor succession and overall industry trendst

  • Ability to present to small audiences

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Economics (or a related discipline) preferred

  • 2+ years of wealth management, corporate finance, investment banking, or corporate development customer service

Preferences:

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and pivot as needed

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus

  • Knowledge of financial concepts preferred

  • Ability to work within a team, take the initiative, and show strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to synthesize complex processes and communicate into digestible messages, ability to present complex topics in an engaging way with partners and clients

  • Ability to execute strategies and track successful delivery

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.


 

Pay Range:

$78,900.00 - $131,500.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
