ARCH US MI Services, Inc., seeks Senior Analyst, Secondary Markets AMF in Greensboro, NC.
Job Duties:
Responsible for the implementation of existing secondary marketing pricing, trading, and hedging tools. Contribute to the development of additional instruments to price loan products and facilitate portfolio management decisions. Apply fixed income and portfolio risk management philosophies to enhance trading strategies, improve pricing analytics, and improve efficiency of current processes. Production of daily rate sheets for AMF non-agency mortgage products. Produce daily position reports for loans, retained securities, hedge positions, market surveillance and pipeline activities. Assist with reporting to constituents on AMF pricing needs. Develop internal pricing model in partnership with other team members. Design and maintain collateral analysis reporting to ensure data integrity and facilitate management of AMF’s loan position. Collaborate with operations and finance departments to assess impact of secondary/credit market changes. Partner with multiple platform vendors to accomplish secondary market goals including fulfillment, servicing, custodian, and trustee. Trace mortgage financing chain from origination to securitization.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or related financial analysis position.
Must have:
- 1 year of experience working with capital markets and/or residential mortgage credit.
- 1 year of experience working in structured product markets related to settling asset based securitization transactions.
- 1 year of experience working with securitization deal parties including lawyers, bankers, underwriters.
- Experience working with models to evaluate credit risk and make lending decisions.
- Experience with structured product deal documents including offering memoranda.
- Programming experience (VBA, R, SQL, Python or similar language).
- Experience working with Microsoft office Excel for financial analysis.
- Experience with analytical tools including Bloomberg, Intex Desktop, ADCo Loan Kinetics or similar models.
- Experience working with concepts involved with fixed income portfolio management.
- Experience with mortgage financing chain from origination to securitization.
- Experience with private label RMBS, including securitizations, cash flow modelling, deal structures, and related bond mathematics.
- Experience with financial, economic, collateral, and credit analysis.
- Experience working with residential mortgage credit and pricing constructs.
