The Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, is responsible for supporting our comprehensive value realization framework across the organization. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, this individual will track and report on the financial and operational value delivered by strategic initiatives and enterprise programs with a strong focus on current and future M&A activity.

What to Expect

  • Support the enterprise-wide value realization reporting, processes and governance.  
  • Prepare synergy modeling and performance tracking for all current and future mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Develop detailed analysis and reporting for baselines, targets, and actuals related to strategic initiative value achievement and synergy realization. 
  • Support quarterly forecasts and annual planning cycle.
  • Work closely with business partners to assess value capture opportunities and impacts. 
  • Deliver detailed analysis to support decision-making and help leadership understand trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare materials to support regular reporting to executive leadership and Board.

 

What You Bring

  • Completion or working toward CPA designation.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • 3+ years experience in Finance. 
  • Experience with value realization, synergy tracking, enterprise program reporting, or post‑merger integration is an asset. 
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: $73,500 - $123,500

High degree of proficiency with English required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada
