Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Finance, the Senior Analyst, Marketing Finance will be responsible for assisting in all financial routines including month end closing and reporting processes, in addition to any ad hoc reporting and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have a finance or accounting background and the ability to interpret key financial information. The candidate should be a hands-on team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. They must have the ability to understand finance & accounting concepts and be able to convey information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly closing process Canada Finance
  • Perform monthly analysis by providing commentary and insights on the results
  • Drive automation by identifying processes and routines that are good candidates
  • Assist in the monthly forecast process, including interacting with members of the business to drive accurate results
  • Work with Corporate Accounting and Shared Services areas to ensure that results are consistent with internal reporting and U.S. GAAP
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of finance or accounting experience
  • High degree of comfort with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; SAP, Power BI and Hyperion experience an asset
  • Strong organizational skills required to meet tight reporting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting an asset
