What you’ll do -
- Manage end-to-end component planning to ensure uninterrupted material availability for production.
- Execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and analyze planning outputs to identify shortages, excess inventory, and planning exceptions.
- Develop and maintain optimal inventory levels through effective safety stock, reorder point, and lead-time management.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement and suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries and resolve supply risks.
- Lead critical shortage management activities and implement mitigation plans to minimize production disruptions.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), product transitions, and phase-in/phase-out planning.
- Analyze demand fluctuations and collaborate with Demand Planning and Production Planning teams to improve planning accuracy.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery adherence, and recovery plans for critical components.
- Prepare and present inventory, material availability, and planning performance reports to management.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory while improving inventory turnover.
- Maintain Effective communication with internal stakeholders.
- Material Master Data - Maintain and validate Material Master data in SAP to ensure planning accuracy and data integrity.
- Analyze and update key planning parameters including Procurement Type, MRP Type, MRP Controller, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, PIR LT & PDT.
- Develop reports and dashboards to monitor MM data quality and planning parameter accuracy.
- Meets defined SLA and KPI’s on performance and quality in given TAT.
- Key Skills – ERP knowledge preferably SAP, Inventory Management, Supplier coordination
What you’ll need -
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university. Master in operations management/SCM would be plus.
- 6-8 years supply chain experience.
- Master scheduling experience is must.
- Working with global suppliers for open orders to meet revenue goals of the factory operations.
- Proficiency in MS office.
- Project management experience.
