HARIBO of America is adding to our sales office in Bentonville, Arkansas. The “Sr. Analyst - Category and Sales” will assist the HARIBO team at Walmart and Sam’s Club in the U.S. retail landscape. The “Sr. Analyst - Category and Sales” is responsible for category and sales reporting as it relates to the Confectionary Category with a focus on Non-Chocolate & Gummi category, supporting the Walmart/Sam’s Club account.
The ”Sr. Analyst - Category and Sales” leads planning and sale development of the HARIBO portfolio for Walmart & Sam’s Club while collaborating cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders including members of our teams in sale, brand marketing, category development, and senior leadership.
The ideal “Sr. Analyst - Category and Sales” has at least three (3) years of experience with category management, sales/business development, and/or sales and category reporting focused roles within the CPG/Consumer Packaged Goods industry and three (3) or more years of experience using syndicated data such as IRI/Circana, Nielsen, POS data, or other related syndicated data. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, advanced Excel skills, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and category reporting as it related to the HARIBO of America product lines(s) for the Walmart and Sam’s Club business
- Deliver business objectives that focus on driving volume, revenue, and profit growth for HARIBO of America and the Walmart and Sam’s Club business
- Build reporting and dashboards to better inform internal and external stakeholders on the performance of the business
- Lead sales planning and sales development of the HARIBO portfolio for the Walmart/Sam’s Club business while collaborating with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Sales Finance, Category, and the Management Team.
- Analyze category and sales data, identify trends, turn insights into action
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with category management, category reporting, sales reporting, sales/business development, or related roles within the CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with IRI/Circana, Nielsen, SPINS, or other forms of syndicated data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with Walmart and/or Sam’s Club corporate or working at Walmart corporate
- Five (5) plus years of experience with category management, category reporting, sales reporting, sales/business development, or related roles within the CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Prior category or sales experience with candy, confectionary, snacks, or related consumer goods
- Prior experience with Retail Link, Madrid, and/or Luminate
