About the Job:

We are seeking an India-based AI Senior Architect to join our Automation and Efficiency team within the US Global Investor and Distribution Services (GIDS) Division at SS&C Technologies. This critical role focuses on the design, build, and delivery of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven automation initiatives, with a core emphasis on scaling production-grade AI solutions that drive measurable operational impact (savings, efficiency, and revenue enablement/delivery). You will be responsible for both high-level architecture and deep hands-on engineering, including coding, model development, and leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • AI Solution Delivery & Execution: Lead the end-to-end build and deployment of AI solutions from concept through production, with a focus on productionizing solutions and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Solution Prioritization & Execution Alignment: Partner with business and operations teams to refine and execute high-impact AI opportunities, focusing on speed to production, scalability, and value realization.
  • Solution Architecture & Scalable Design: Design and implement enterprise-grade AI solutions aligned with SS&C architecture standards and AI Gateway frameworks.
  • Hands-on Coding & AI Engineering: Contribute to Python-based development, data pipelines, and AI/ML/LLM integrations, with a bias toward API-first and data-driven architectures.
  • AI-Assisted Development & Code Acceleration: Leverage tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality, and drive adoption across the team.
  • Productionization & Scaling: Transition solutions from prototype to robust production deployments with monitoring and performance tuning.
  • AI/LLM & Agentic Solutions Development: Build LLM-based solutions, AI agents, and intelligent automation workflows integrated with enterprise systems.
  • Enterprise Alignment: Collaborate with AI Enterprise and GIDS Technology teams to align with AI governance, infrastructure, and security standards.
  • Performance Optimization & Value Realization: Improve accuracy, scalability, cost efficiency, and measurable business impact.
  • Innovation & Technology Evaluation: Stay current with LLMs, agentic frameworks, and AI engineering tools.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor engineers and drive a culture of engineering excellence and delivery accountability.
  • Project Management: Lead AI delivery with focus on execution discipline and production readiness.
  • Data Governance & Security: Ensure adherence to data privacy and governance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields
  • Proven track record of delivering AI/ML solutions into production environments at scale
  • Strong coding skills in Python, with experience in building production-grade systems
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
  • Strong background in LLMs, NLP, machine learning, data engineering, and API-based architectures
  • Experience deploying AI solutions in production using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with AI agents or orchestration frameworks is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with RPA/BPM platforms is a plus, with preference for API/data-driven approaches
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
