Sr Advisor - Product Reviews - APJ
This Senior Advisor role is a pivotal position supporting Dell’s Client Solutions Group, responsible for shaping and driving product reviews across key Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) markets for strategic lines of business. The role combines strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution to ensure our products are positioned for success in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
As a Sr Advisor - Product Reviews - APJ, you will partner with global and regional PR/reviews leads to define and execute a comprehensive reviews strategy, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders. From selecting configurations and ordering units for reviews to cultivating media relationships and amplifying product reviews, you’ll play a critical role in driving awareness, credibility, and feedback that informs future product innovation for Dell’s Client Solutions Group in Gurgaon/ Bangalore, India
What You’ll Achieve:
Lead the charge in elevating the importance of product reviews as a key driver of customer trust and market differentiation.
Navigate the evolving landscape of technology reviews, including the growing influence of AI and large language models (LLMs), to ensure our products stand out.
Shape the reviews program for long-term success by blending strategic vision with tactical execution.
You will:
Develop and Execute Strategy: Help define the reviews strategy and prioritize key products and reviewers in collaboration with global and regional communications teams and business stakeholders.
Media and Reviewer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and tech influencers across Australia, Japan, India – working with regional PR leads, as appropriate, and providing strategic counsel – spanning tech, business, lifestyle, and emerging platforms.Product Readiness: Partner with internal teams to ensure reviewers receive high-quality, fully prepared products on time, while troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. This includes taking product and configuration advice from US-based counterparts and adapting and adjusting to optimize for what works best in key APJ markets. Amplify Reviews: Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage positive reviews for external promotion and ensure insights are shared with cross-functional teams to inform future product improvements. Competitive Intelligence: Deeply understand the product landscape, including key competitors, to provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders and Stakeholder Communication: Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, keeping all key stakeholders informed and aligned in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Requirements
Experience: 5-10 years in journalism, public relations, or communications, with a strong preference for candidates with IT industry experience.
Education: A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong understanding of consumer technology products and services, with basic technical knowledge including familiarity of hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to build and manage media relationships, including with tech press, business press, and influencers.
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with a knack for simplifying complex topics. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Desirable Requirements:
A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and tight deadlines, while maintaining a collaborative and innovative approach.
