As Sr Advanced Systems Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace in Krakow, you will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure leadership position of the company and take a technical leadership role in creating system solutions for the CNS (Communication, Navigation and Surveillance) team that will meet the long-term evolving needs of our customers.
This a chance to work on one of the most successful products for Honeywell Aerospace in the segment, and to further grow your expertise while dealing with existing and new innovative projects. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of complex CNS systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Drive system integration, validation, and verification activities to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
- Work with CNS laboratory environments and test benches to support system integration, validation, troubleshooting, and verification activities for Communication, Navigation and Surveillance solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop innovative solutions
- University degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Aerospace, Electronic and/or Software engineering
- 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or related industries
- Hands-on experience working with hardware test benches and laboratory environments for aerospace or avionics system development and verification.
- Experience in software requirements management and requirements-based development using tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulatory compliance, experience with TCAS solution will be considered as advantage.
