As a Senior Advanced Software Architect at Honeywell, you will lead the architecture, design, and evolution of large-scale, cloud-native SaaS applications built on Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for defining technical strategy, architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and engineering best practices for secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing enterprise platforms.
The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of overall software industry experience, including 8+ years of hands-on software design and development experience and 5+ years in Software Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect roles. This role requires deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture, .NET Core/C#, microservices, distributed systems, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, AKS/Kubernetes, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hub.
As an Architect, you will provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams, drive architecture governance, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, oversee solution quality, and guide modernization initiatives using cloud-native and AI-enabled engineering practices.
The role requires strong expertise in backend technologies, while maintaining a solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks and SPA architectures to effectively guide end-to-end solution design. Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, security-first development, observability, platform engineering, and enterprise integration patterns is highly desirable.
Additionally, the successful candidate will champion the adoption of AI-assisted software engineering practices, including the use of developer productivity tools, AI-powered coding assistants, and emerging AI Agent frameworks to accelerate software delivery, improve quality, and drive innovation.
You will report to the Engineering Manager and work from Bangalore, India, in a hybrid work environment.
