We are seeking a Sr. Advanced Software Engineer with deep expertise in application packaging, DevSecOps, and CI/CD automation. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade application packaging solutions and build pipelines.
Responsibilities- Design and architect CI/CD automation pipelines and infrastructure
- Lead application packaging initiatives, including Build-to-Build migrations
- Develop and maintain MSI packages, WIX toolsets, and InstallShield solutions
- Automate packaging workflows and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and optimize complex build and deployment scenarios
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in DevSecOps and application packaging
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless application delivery
- Manage package validation and quality assurance using ORCA and other tools
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Expert-level proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Batch programming
- Strong hands-on experience with application packaging technologies:
- MSI creation and ORCA
- WIX toolset
- InstallShield
- InstallScript
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD automation and pipeline development
- Proven track record with Build-to-Build migrations and automation projects
- DevSecOps mindset and experience integrating security into the development pipeline
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, etc.)
- Knowledge of modern DevOps tools and platforms
- Experience with version control systems and release management
- Certification in relevant technologies or DevSecOps
- Experience in agile development environments
