Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software systems.
- Lead the integration and customization of Atlassian tools to support agile development and DevOps practices.
- Automate workflows, reporting, and dashboards in DevSecOps tools to improve team productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the software stack.
- Stay current with emerging technologies like AI and MLOps and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in DevOps.
- Proven experience with DevSecOps tools including Jira (administration and scripting), Confluence, GitHub, and other CI/CD tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, scripting (e.g., Groovy, Shell), and plugin development for Atlassian tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AI code assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
Skills Required
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and query optimization
- Deep Snowflake expertise (architecture, virtual warehouses, semi-structured data, query optimization)
- ETL/ELT experience designing and building pipelines into Snowflake, specifically Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Java)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure) and optimizing Snowflake in cloud environments
